Hello everyone!
Yesterday was a pretty crazy day. As you may have heard, the top 3 finale for the Youthink Magazine band contest was yesterday at the Electric Owl. It was an incredible experience, the food, the people and the overall atmosphere. In a sense, it wasn’t a contest at all. There wasn’t any trash between bands and everyone was super friendly which is how it should always be. But of course, only one could be number one this year. We came in third place with $750, a $200 gift certificate to Long & Mcquade, and more. But we think the amount of opportunities that we got during that time outweighed any minor disappointment. To even be in the top 3 was an incredible experience in itself and we could not have done it without everyone who voted for us and watched our weird videos. So with that in mind, thank you to Youthink Magazine for putting on such an amazing contest that we hope will continue year after year so that bands like us can gain the industry experience needed to make a career out of this. Thank you to everyone that supported and voted for us the entire time. This is just the beginning.
